>> Assembly Processes - Insert Moulding

The insert moulding process involves moulding thermoplastic material around pre-contacted strip.  P&B has established specific fully automated production lines for ensuring the most economical production of parts.

Components can be supplied as individual pieces, or as moulded strip recoiled for blanking on the customer’s automated assembly line.

The ability to combine press, contacting and moulding facilities as a complete service improves the overall quality control of the sub-assemblies, and extends the possibilities of automated final assembly.

We have worked on numerous projects with our global customers to produce sub-assemblies in this way and avoid the expensive costs of separate procurement of plastic and contacted parts combined with the cost of assembly.
